How CARenu™ works:

1. One of our CARenu service writers does a meticulous walk-around of your car, with an eye to even the smallest imperfections. He’ll also estimate the number of hours required for a general detail.
2. Service writers consult with you on the cosmetic repairs you’d like us to do. Complete renewal can be relatively expensive, but it’s worth every penny. And there are escalating discounts for repairs exceeding $500, $1000 and $1500.
3. Before we do any cosmetic work, we do a complete mechanical check of your car, free… because what good is a car that looks beautiful, if it doesn’t run so beautifully? If any mechanical work is recommended, we’ll tell you before we begin the CARenu process.*
4. The CARenu process can take 1 day or up to 2 or 3, depending on the amount of service requested. Car Sense will be happy to secure a rental car on your behalf if needed.

*While mechanical work isn’t technically a part of CARenu services, each Car Sense is equipped with an excellent full-service car care facility. Or we’ll give you our recommendations, and you’re free to take it to your own mechanic.

Cosmetic repairs from A to Z:

Basic Detailing – A complete cleaning of your car, inside and out, but without cosmetic repairs. Detailing is estimated by the hour, based on size of car and level of cleaning needed.

Bumpers – If you’ve just been in a couple scrapes, we can just refinish – $195.95. Crushed corners, holes and the like, we can repair for an additional $49.95 to $99.95 each.

Carpet Stains – Did one of the kids spill red punch on your tan carpet? Our magic carpet man can make that a happy memory. $79.95 and up.

Dents – Rounded dents up to football size can often be popped back out without repainting – $99.95 each. (If painting is required, see “Paint a panel.”) Larger dents or creased metal from fender benders? That’s work for an auto body shop.

Floor Mats – Floor mats can cost hundreds if you order them from manufacturers. Ours are more generic, but also just a fraction of the price – $29.95.

Guaranteed Odor Removal – Even the smelliest cars can regain that new car smell. $99.95.

Headlight Repairs – Got yellowed headlights? Not anymore, you don’t. $39.95/pair.

Interior Plastic Repair – Holes in the dashboard, cuts and scrapes in interior door sides or in places you stow cargo. All repairable. $79.95 each.

Paint a Panel – Deeper scratches and more aggressive dents may require painting. $249.95 per panel.

Scratches – Shallow scratches can be removed with wet sanding. $79.95. Deeper, more numerous scratches may require us to paint a panel.

Upholstery Burn Holes and Tears – We repair both cigarette burns and more extensive damage. $69.95 or $79.95 for holes; $69.95 to $129.95 for tears.

Wheel Repair – Scraped a few curbs? With aluminum or plastic wheel cover repair, you’d never know it. $29.95 for plastic, $69.95 for aluminum.

Windshield Chips – Small chips surrounded by spider cracks up to a few inches can be repaired, as long as there’s no hole in the windshield. $29.95 each.
