A Message Regarding COVID-19

In light of recent events regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus, we thought we’d take a moment to reach out and tell you what we’re doing.

Update 3/21/20:

In accordance with the directives of PA and NJ state officials, CarSense has suspended all In-Store Sales-related business operations until further notice. CarSense Service Departments are considered to be essential to the Sustainment of Life and remain open to serve you and our community. Our Service Departments are abiding by all suggested social distancing and sanitizing measures.

Our Virtual Showroom on CarSense.com remains open. Designated managers are available to assist with all inquiries you may have by phone, email, text, videoconference, or internet form.

In the coming days, as updates become available, we will post them on the special message section on CarSense.com.

Dear Valued CarSense Customers,

At CarSense, the health and safety of our associates and customers is paramount. In accordance with the directives from state officials, CarSense is suspending all Pennsylvania In-Store Sales-related business operations until further notice.

Fixed Operations (Service, Parts, and Detail) are considered by the state of Pennsylvania to be essential to the Sustainment of Life and therefore remain open.

Our Mt Holly location in New Jersey will continue to operate under the modified store operating schedule that is currently in place.  

At CarSense stores where In-Store Sales operations are being temporarily closed, our Virtual Showroom on CarSense.com will remain open. Designated managers have been assigned to handle all inquiries you may have by phone, email, text, or internet form.

We ask for your patience while we gather facts, information, and answers.

Update 3/17/20:

Here is what CarSense is doing to keep you safe while you visit our facilities:

  • We have enhanced the techniques used to clean our vehicles. Our associates are paying special attention to wiping down interior touchpoints, such as seats, steering wheels, door handles, shift knobs, and other hard surfaces.
  • We are wiping down touchpoints inside the stores, and our customer-facing associates are wearing disposable gloves.
  • We are also cleaning our stores frequently with high-grade sanitizing products.
  • In addition, we are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our associates. This includes instructing associates who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers. We are also urging associates to be vigilant about frequent hand-washing.
  • We are implementing “social distancing” policies wherever possible.
  • We have suspended the CarSense Service Shuttle service until further notice.

First and foremost, we want you to know that the safety and health of both our customers and associates are paramount. CarSense has always made the cleanliness of our vehicles and premises a top priority, and we will rigorously continue to do so, as we follow the guidance set forth by our state, local and federal officials, as well as public health organizations. Whether you come for the best used cars or our outstanding Service and Detail departments, know that in no CarSense location will you encounter anywhere near the density of people that the government suggests you avoid.  

Second, over the years, we’ve made unprecedented advances in making buying more convenient – however you feel most comfortable shopping. No car retailer has made it easier for you to:  

See the car virtually

CarSense’s new website allows you to see every detail of every vehicle, inside and out. After cars are reconditioned, they’re photographed using a Spin Car process that allows you to rotate the vehicle 360 degrees to inspect every angle. There are pictures of every interior feature; many times (depending on your cell phone) you can view the interior 360 degrees as well.

Schedule a test drive

Select the vehicle that interests you most on the carsense.com website, hit the Schedule a Test Drive button, and you barely have to say hello at the store. There’s no waiting around the showroom for your car to come available.

Get in and out, pronto
