Each month CarSense highlights some of the best attractions in the region in a feature called "Sunday Drives."
March 28
“Smoke and mirrors” are classic techniques in magical illusions dating back to the 1700s. Today, Smoke & Mirrors is also one of the best magic theaters around – an intimate 60-seat venue that is handicap accessible and brings audiences and amazing magicians together, up close and personal.
Two things make Smoke & Mirrors shows especially good: performers who have commanded national attention on major networks including Disney, HBO, BBC and PBS, and your proximity to the action. There’s literally not a bad seat in the house, with crystal clear sight lines and sound.
If you decide to try them out on Saturday, March 28, you’ll get 60-70 minutes of illusions, sleight of hand tricks, comedy and interactivity in a kid-friendly show that features some of Philly’s best. Magicians Danny Archer, Mike Bonacci, and Mike Miller are all part of the March lineup. Show is at 1 pm; tickets are $15-20.01 (yes, 20.01), and you should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to showtime.
